Downsizing
Courtesy of Coryglen, I bring you the anti-Morgan Spurlock.
Morgan eats all 3 daily meals from McDonalds. She says, 'I just stay anywhere between 1,200 and 1,400 calories a day.' Merab who stands at 5 foot 9 inches tall currently weighs in at 195-lbs down from 228-lbs. two months ago...Her goal is to become the next Jared Fogel, the man who became the spokesman for the Subway diet.

I think its reasonable enough as it goes - lets face it, Supersize Me was an incredibly biased "project". A halfway decent documentary, but as has been pointed out by more than a few people now you can comfortably lose weight and eat healthy by following the same rules that he did.
People generally don't, but that's another story and, unfortunately, not quite so tittlating. People just love to blame a big faceless corporation rather than themselves and their choices...
There's a difference between "losing weight" and eating healthy. This woman is a walking publicity stunt. In other articles she notes how she wants McDonalds to reimburse her for her food and wants to go on Oprah to compare weightloss strategies with her. She claims she "feels great", but has no info on if her blood sugar levels, cholesterol, etc. really are ok.
You may not die or gain 35 pounds just eating McDonalds food, but you are certainly not getting quality lean proteins, whole grains, and a wide variety of fresh vegetables. The worst is, if she has two small children, what is she teaching them about health and nutrition? That it doesn't matter what you eat if you are thin?
I totally agree with the last comment. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to try to "prove" you can lose weight by eating McDonalds food. "Supersize Me" did have a biased bent to it but the point of the movie was to go to the extremes to show people just how unhealthy fast food can be. Of course, not everyone is going to eat 3 meals a day at McDonalds but the "what if.." is a good eye opener in the movie. This woman is missing it..
Just because you are thin doesn't mean you are in shape, and I think more people should promote good eating habits and health rather than how you look, regardless of the means to get there.
