Big Fat Deal
So what's the Big Fat Deal? Well, at the risk of getting all mission-statementy, I think it's important to call attention to issues of weight in the media, pop culture, and society. If we can convince at least one teenage girl that Ashley Olsen isn't "the fat twin," we will have done our job.

That would be an awesome article! As for this one, I was most struck by the Lane Bryant rep's generous permission for women to pair a tank top with the pants of their choice. Wow!

What a weird little article! It reminded me vaguely, in style, of someone's jr. high paper on "where our food comes from" - except randomly salacious. I expect great things from this writer. Great things!
