A surprising number of people are out there searching on Star Jones-related topics, so in an effort to give the people what they want, I present the Star Jones Q & A.

A: Well here she is in a bathing suit, which is not a very flattering picture. And here she looks pretty skinny, if a little scary and about ten years older. She also has a picture on her official site where she looks like an alien. I think she looks pretty good here.

A: This site reports: 'According to Star, she has not had gastric bypass surgery, though that doesn't keep fans from speculating. She did have breast reduction surgery, but only because she said she was having pains in her back. Maybe the doctor nipped and tucked a few things while he was in there, who knows? All we do know is that Star says she designed a long-term health plan with her doctors, in which she now "eats healthier, drinks lots of water and exercises regularly." She also does Pilates several times a week.'
There's also this whole "I won't diet!" thing from 2001, but that picture looks so fake, I don't know if I trust the quotes either. (Although this does sound like her: "I'm not worried about getting skinny... I'm happy with Star!")

doesn't the newly skinny star jones look kind of like nicole richie?? it is a strange thing.
I think Star looks like she's aged at least ten years.
Star seems very lethargic these days. It's like the life has been sucked out of her.

She has turned into a SNOB and it seems like she hates fat people now, although I have never really cared for her, she is too judgemental and makes fun of people to make herself look good. what do you think?
Star is so annoying. I am happy she is leaving The View...now I can watch it. I would try to watch the show but had to change the channel everytime Star opened her big annoying mouth. Good ridance.

Star Jones has made an awesome transformation. At first I was on the band wagon, hating the weight loss claims of not having bypass. But why do we obsess over people in the spotlights, camera, action? WE reduce these HUMANS to idols which we trash the momemt they change. Star Jones is an awesome woman. Lawyer-Deputy D.A.-talk show host-stylist- daughter-granddaughter-Child-of-God! The latter the most important. Press on, Star Jones. I'm waiting for your autobiography!
whats strange is that her face looks the same siz, though her neck has shrunk like a withered branch. her wieght loss has made her look truely bizzare. maybe its the makeup or the lighting, but now her head seems too big for the rest of her body. and yes she does look alot like nicole richie!
Yea...her head does look "oversized". It looks as if she is going to fall over from the weight of her own head. She needs to put on a few more pounds to look more natural.
She just isn't pretty anymore. Almost looks as though she has a disease or something. SCARY!!!!!!!!!!
Star looks like a brown Divine from the John Water's movies, but at least now there is a lot less weight to put on those cheap Pay-Less pumps.
I think STar looked better inbetween her large phase and her thin phase. There is something about her that just doesn't look right. I can'tlace it but it's weird
She did have gastric bypass surgery and she did look better between the surgery and now. Look at her closely - she looks like a llama.
Has anyone noticed the butterfly-looking scar between her breasts. She's trying to hide it with a strategically placed pendant. But I've seen it some of the photos published of her. Her doctor needs to do scar reduction, as well as tummy tuck. By the time she's finished she'll look like the keloid train track

I think she looks great, who cares how she lost the weight, she lost it and is in better health now...
i saw on court tv a lady saying she's Star Jones but i was realllly shock because i always thought that though she was fat she was beautiful, now what i saw was this little old lady. yech!

I don't see how anyone could call her a plus-size role model not! Much better choices would be Joy Nash, Queen Latifah, Mo'Nique, Mia Tyler, etc.
Star Jones looked better before her surgery than now, but she looked her best when she had lost about 25-30
pounds. I really hate though that there is all of this pressure on celebrities to be thin. Yikes!
I'd really hate the day when we actually have to talk about something important..........
