We Do We Rule? Because We Love The Ham
Sometimes, the best part about writing a blog is the emails you get in response.
It's so true!
Anyway, just wanted to tell you that you shouldn't really worry so much about your looks. If you want to exercise and eat healthy crap for your help, then thats great!
But if you kill yourself working out and eating disgusting healthy crap just to improve your looks.. i say just be yourself. I'm a big guy but i do what i do to lose weight and try and get healthy, not for my looks. There are some of guys (albeit not many) that prefer bigger girls because for some reason, girls with bigger curves aren't bitches like other, non-curvaceous women out there.
It's so true!

I was being sarcastic, Richard.
I'm not Anne, but "it's so true" was, to my mind, 100% tongue in cheek. We're not into bashing skinny people. Some of our best friends are skinny!
I dated a skinny person once, you know.
Hello, I've been reading your blog lately and I like it but I wanted to chime in here because I thought the guy's comment was dumb.
IMO the way to compliment someone is not by insulting someone else, i.e. insinuating that thin women are "bitches". I mean, why even go there? He sounds a little bitter. I'm just saying that it doesn't help any of us to generalize and/or label people like that.
I would definitely also say, that guys who fall in love with a real-sized or curvaceous woman, that it's a very loyal passion.
I'm married to a skinny person. But then, I am of course a very nice person myself ;)

This sounds like the emailer finally had an epiphany and realized that girls who eat more than air are actually interesting, fun to be around, stylish, smart, etc. etc. Non-curvaceous women, as we ALL know, need to eat a sandwich or shrivel up and die.
Heather: there are only a few answers to the question "how much do you weigh?" a. right back at ya, b. hmmm, not sure, how much does your brain weigh? and c. why, are you going to powerlift me? but seriously, if that's what they ask, then move on.
Richard: yes, it is ALWAYS okay to be rude and discriminatory against thinner people as that never happens in this dimension--fat people are ridiculed and derided in public places (we've all heard it) by big morons. Why is it okay to be phenomenally STUPID but not okay to be fat?
Heather, I like Anonymous' answer "C" (for nice guys) and "B" for the borderline jerks (what are you doing corresponding with them anyway? Not to get all in your business, but we're trying to find you someone NICE to date here.)
The other thing is, when you go out in person, the ones who feel like they just MUST guess (I find those to be guys who want to be nice but, because they are guys and their brains do work differently from ours, do need some training in nuance) will guess "light". One who kissed my hand later guessed so light I almost laughed in his face (guess all the weight lifting is finally working).
So permit me to say to you: away from the computer and out of the house to a live party with you!
Richard, dear, lighten up.
Non-curvaceous women, as we ALL know, need to eat a sandwich or shrivel up and die.
Nice.
