The Kind Of Self-Love That Won't Make You Go Blind

To counteract the grotesque previous post, may I point you to the Valentine's Day celebration going on at Snackie's World? The idea is to make an "I love myself" post on your blog. In the comments of each post, people can chime in with passionate love for the blogger in question--in this instance, you.

However, putting a little spin on this idea, I invite you to post your own self-love in these comments. I like to hear that people love themselves on Valentine's Day! So bring it on: what do you love about yourself?

And in the spirit of love, I will say that I love anne and Weetabix. They are amazing writers, fabulous dressers, delightful blog contributors, and great friends. And I also love all of you readers and commenters (anonymous comments are enabled again, by the way) who make this such a special place to spend time online.

Thanks, y'all.

Yay, self-love!

Hrmmm, I guess I like the fact that I am able to love myself no matter what I weigh. I don't tug my shirt or hide my face behind my hair anymore and it feels good to be calm.

I just wanna say that I love your blog and all of the information that I gain from reading. You truly do use your powers for good!

Aw. And love to the fabulous pie, who is beautiful, brilliant and bubbly, and who runs a spectacular site, and love to sweetabix, who is gorgeous, gifted, and incredibly edgy.

And if I may self-love for a moment: I am as tasty as ham.

I vouch for the fact that anne is tasty as ham, as I have licked her, a salty sweetness that is very satisying. Wait, that sounds much dirtier than it actually was. And my love for Pie knows no bounds. I think I've licked her too, and she tastes like cherries and blue gummy snake. For Good! Aww!

Time for a Lovefest!!

I love the way I laugh, it always gets other people laughing. I love the way I am able to persevere through everyday. I love who I am becoming as I learn to shut-off the negative voice of my teenage years and start to recognize just how wonderfully complex, beautiful, caring and above all else full of love my spirit is. And how this radiates through me, through my body and actions regardless of my size, my shape, or anything else.

I also love this blog.
Thank-you, to all you wonderfully crazy and delightful women for being awesome (and hilarious).

Great big chocolate kisses for everyone. *MWAH*
