Guilty Pleasure
In the quest for new weblog content, I am signed up for a number of rather complicated Google News alerts. As a result, I get links to articles about the "obesity epidemic" in a different state every day. (Today is Kentucky.) And I hear an awful lot about Kirstie Alley (believe me, I spare you much of it). But today, I got a link about Clay Aiken and how he likes hot dogs. (Yeah he does.) It has nothing to do with this blog, but I think Clay Aiken is sort of dreamy. In a vaguely gay, possibly Republican way. I have problems, people. Problems.

Flavia, thanks! I completely encourage that in the spirit of audience participation and community and whatnot. I might not post everything, but it is much appreciated!
Clay is thin. THIN. He doesn't look like he ever ate anything.
But gay and Republican. Possibly.
I don't think anyone said that Clay wasn't thin!
I have it on good authority (one of his friends posted it on a message board, and it's been confirmed that this poster indeed knows him) that he is most definitely NOT Republican. Hope that helps! I'm going to see him in concert this weekend, he's quite the performer. And it's widely reported that loves to eat lots of junk, not just hot dogs. Krispy Kremes and Mac 'n' cheese are his favorites. Someone needs to get him some fruits and veggies, stat!
BTW, my failure to respond to the "vaguely gay" description when I mentioned he's not Republican was NOT meant to imply that I am confirming his gayness. I honestly have no idea. Don't know, don't care.
Just to clarify :)
Hi- Santana here-www.santanacody.com I put that there because I can't stand being an anonymous poster- but I don't want a blog. That said,
I love me some clay. And so what if he is thin? That is as bad as bitching that Kirstie is fat. He looks naturally thin and he is as cute as can be. Live and let live people!
Here is an article (speaking of reader submissions):

Discretionary calories sound a lot like Weight Watchers Flex Points to me! But I don't do Weight Watchers, so I really don't know. Just basing this on what I've gathered from reading your blog. And they have the get more exercise, you can eat more idea too. Sounds like the Activity Points.
