Thanks to Pasta Queen, who thought we should be the first to hear the gossip that Star Jones is apparently being kicked off The View, apparently because Barbara Walters and Rosie O'Donnell both hate her!
"'It was always Rosie's condition of joining the show, and Barbara agreed to those conditions from the outset,' our source said. There's been bad blood on the set... Star was secretly dubbed 'Bridezilla' two years ago after she took untold freebies from wedding suppliers in exchange for plugs on the show. Recently, Jones enraged Walters and her crew by bragging about her dramatic weight loss while refusing to confirm that she'd undergone gastic bypass surgery to achieve it."
One thing I wanted to point out was all the slams about her being fat in this article. Now by all accounts, Star Jones is a horrifying diva of epic proportions, but is that really necessary? I mean, she's being referred to as "hefty," "big-boned," and "waddling" off into the sunset. It would be insulting regardless, but she's not even fat anymore!

Maybe if she wasn't a freebie grubbing - gay-man marrier, her fatness wouldn't be so odious, because Rosie O'Donnell ain't no Barbie doll, but they didn't say one word about her weight. Is that because she always mentions how fat she is?
Good point Laura! Or perhaps they just felt it would be too mean to talk about her huge forehead and bug-eyes and general alienlikeness so they stuck to the good old fat girl standby. Hmmmm... :)
Do you think "talking head" was a crack, too? She sure isn't fat anymore, but she still does have a big old head.
I don’t watch much TV because I have no basic cable. I admit would have been really interesting to see a show with Rosie and Star on it. I like Rosie and Star.
I chose WW to lose my weight but we judge people who do gastric bypass way too much.
Gastric bypass is not an easy way out it. Gastric bypass is for people who’ve tried everything else and failed.

I really don't watch much of this stuff but have stumbled across it while surfing...and of course my coworker 'Laquisha' (an alias and my pet name for her)...keeps me posted whether I like it or not. But not knowing the depth of the issues I'd just taken a personal dislike for STARRRA...ain't no escaping she is straight from the 'ville. My issue is that she has no humility, and takes this STAR thing too far. Seems she should be a bit humble...I think most peoople would support her regardless of how she lost it as long as she wasn't starving herself to death...but we know that ain't happening...But regardless of how she's doing it/done it...it really has transformed her into an alternate of her formerly dumpy self...not in anyway attractive to me, and seemingly few others. I think there is a concern that whatever method it hasn't improve her looks for the best, but caused concerns that maybe it was too much too soon and it's have other affects on her face...ewwwww (I'm making ugly faces, gritting my teeth, turning my smile into a frown and pressing the back of my head to my shoulders while saying that...)
I'm not really trying to bas her just making a point...
I've never been a fan of Rosie either and she ain't the most shapely attractive lady either, unless you like rectangular/box shaped bulldigers. But I don't hold that against her either. Thats just my personal observation and only say that we should take a look at ourselves before we publicly demolish someone...recognize and deal with your own shortcomings and you might have compassion for others.
...though still, I've always felt there was tension on that show, just listening to star talk, and bragg, just got under my skin...and i wondered how those ladies put up with it...I suppose I just thoutght it was a woman thing...the tolerance. Speaking of her gay boyfriend...is he really? Or is that a comment out of detest? He does look to be doesn't he, and I've wondered too...kinda like that Terry broad who got her groove back...and then lost it....you just never know.
...by the way, don't take me seriously...I'm a fool, just spreading a little love and hate.

Oh Man, I fell off my big fat couch reading "poassbrutha". That was hysterical, and at the same time, very telling. I feel sorry for the poor lady, "Payless", "E" Red Carpet, and now this. What a kick in the pants. If Barbara Walters can't stand a person, it sure is hard to make a comeback. She can always be an attorney, I guess. I'm not one to kick a dog when it's down.
Who cares how she lost the weight. She still has no real talent. She is even worse on the eyes than before. If they didn't fire her, thats too bad. Also, who cares what her husband does or doesn't do.
Oh wait, SHE throws everything out there so people talk about her and she can be famous. So maybe she does deserve everything she gets.
And since she is so righteous now a days, the only thing she can do and be a pious as she pretends in public is to forgive me.
